In his new villa in GrĂŒnwald, Bushido reminisces about his past, sharing a photo of a nearly empty room on Instagram. The sight of the construction workers brings back memories of his time as a painter and decorator during his youth.
Bushido, born Anis Ferchichi, had a mandatory apprenticeship in painting and decorating after completing the 11th grade. This decision was made by the court due to his involvement in drug and property crimes. During this time, he met the musician Fler, and his music career began in 1998.
Now, Bushido, who is currently a judge on DSDS alongside Dieter Bohlen, has returned to Germany after more than four years in Dubai. He and his family have moved to a new luxury villa in the Munich suburb of GrĂŒnwald. The renovation is underway, and the spacious living room with a view of the garden is being redone.
This new beginning is accompanied by a clear decision. The couple has reportedly let go of most of their staff, including nannies, drivers, and other helpers. They aim to organize their family life without these aids, keeping only a housekeeper. Anna-Maria Ferchichi explained that in Dubai, they relied heavily on external support, but in Germany, they want to approach things differently. The transition was difficult, but they chose it to make their daily life more grounded.
The family has also revealed a personal challenge: their daughter, Laila, suffers from scoliosis and will need to wear a brace. Bushido and Anna-Maria Ferchichi have stated that they will now prioritize their family life, focusing on their daughter's needs.
This shift in focus comes at a time when Bushido is reflecting on his past, including his time as a painter and decorator, and his journey to becoming a well-known rapper. It's a reminder that success and luxury can sometimes be built on a foundation of challenges and sacrifices.
